1. Alachua County Clerk of Court- Gainesville, Florida

Because courthouses across the country are closed to the public, due to COVID-19, Alachua County has decided to offer couples the opportunity to still have their wedding through drive-thru wedding ceremonies.

Ceremonies will be held, starting at 5:00PM, on April 30th and May 14th, on the southern side of the Family & Civil Courthouse.

2. Victorian Veranda Country Inn- Lawrence, Kansas

While this rural inn does a good deal of business with their inn guests, the majority of their business is done via weddings.

The owner of the inn, Robert Phillips, who has officiated hundreds of weddings in thepast, decided to start offering drive-thru wedding services at the inn, totally free of charge.

The couple would need to have a marriage license and it must be from the state of Kansas.

Explaining the concept of a drive-through wedding, Phillips told KCTV, “The concept of the drive-through wedding is simple. The happy couple would just pull up under the portico and remain in their car the entire time.”
