10 Beautiful Women’s Silicone Wedding Rings (Review Guide)

For the most beautiful women’s silicone wedding rings, I turned to Amazon and Etsy.

While I wouldn’t really recommend either as a place to buy precious metals and gemstone rings, it’s perfect for silicone bands.

1.  Groove Life Silicone Wedding Ring for Women

Groove Life is one of the most well-know silicone wedding band companies, so they’re a great place to begin your search.

It’s hard to choose a favorite from their extensive line, but I’m personally loving this one with two black bands and a swirly rose-patterned white band.

It’s actually a set of three rings, so you can wear each one separately, although I prefer the stacked look.

2.  Enso Rings Classic Elements Silicone Ring

Enso is another popular company in the silicone ring world. Again, they have countless beautiful choices, but I love the real metal look of this design.

Along with the copper pictured here, it comes in rose gold, silver, regular gold, “pearl,” and a couple of other colors.

All of their rings come with a lifetime warranty, so if it does happen to break, they’ll replace it for free.

3.  ROQ Silicone Wedding Ring for Women

Want something a little more vibrant? Check out this stunning set from ROQ!

The colors remind me of a coral reef, or a day on the beach in the Caribbean.

If they’re a little too vibrant for you, though, ROQ sells other sets in more neutral tones.

4.  KAUAI Timeless Elegance Ring Collection

The KAUAI Timeless Elegance Collection is a gender-neutral set of three rings with a magnificent Celtic pattern.

Grab a set of three, or choose a single band in different colors. Every ring is designed by the world-famous artist Donna Lee.

Like other reputable brands, they offer a lifetime guarantee on their rings. If anything happens to yours, they’ll replace it for free.

5.  Egnaro Braided Silicone Wedding Ring for Women

The Egnaro braided bands make a lovely alternative to traditional “flat” style bands.

Again, you can choose from multiple different color options, or build your own set by choosing single rings.

Stack them up for a unique look or wear them one at a time for a daintier style.

Now, let’s head on over to Etsy and see what they have to offer!

Knot Theory seems to rule the roost over there in the women’s silicone wedding bands arena, but I did find a couple of other beautiful choices for you as well.

6.   Knot Theory True Comfort Fit in Rose Gold

True Comfort Fit in Rose Gold

If you want something that has all the pros of silicone wedding bands but looks more like a traditional ring, go with this rose gold band from Knot Theory.

It comes in 7 sizes and it’s made with food-safe silicone. The slim profile makes it perfect for places where you work with your hands, as it won’t get snagged as easily.

7.  Personalized Silicone Ring for Women or Men

Personalized Silicone Ring for Women or Men

This gender-neutral ring from PizzaMoneyLLC comes in 5 different colors and has a chunkier profile than the one above.

I love that you can “engrave” it with your names, wedding date, or anything else (up to 12 characters).

The only major drawback, they don’t accept returns or exchanges.

8.  True Comfort Fit Lotus 5-Pack

  True Comfort Fit Lotus 5-Pack

Another option from Knot Theory, this pack of women’s silicone wedding rings has a sort of opalescent quality to them.

Like all of their bands, these are designed to mimic real metal rings and not just look like toys.

9. Stackable Silicone Wedding Bands

This set may just be my favorite yet! It comes in 5 bands. Wear one, two, or stack them all in to a beautiful large “blingy” band.

Choose from 7 different sets in a myriad of lovely colors. My favorite is the one pictured above.

10. Black and White Stacking Set

Once again, we return to Knot Theory’s Etsy store (they really do make some of the best silicone rings on Etsy) for another beautiful stackable set.

Like the Egnaro set up in the Amazon section, they have a darling dainty braided look to them.

This one comes with two black and one white ring. Wear each one alone or stack them up for a neat monochromatic effect.

What Are Silicone Wedding Rings?

Well, they’re pretty much exactly what they sound like- wedding bands that are made from silicone.

Right there, that tells you they’re something unique! Traditional bands are usually made with precious metals, like silver, gold, or titanium.

Silicone is a synthetic material cooked up in a lab and has a rubbery feel.

Don’t let that scare you, though. These rings aren’t made with your typical kitchenware silicone materials.

Instead, they’re typically crafted with the highest-quality medical-grade silicone, making them more durable, pliable, and prettier!

Let’s go over the pros and cons, then we’ll check out some of my favorite women’s silicone wedding rings and bands.

Benefits and Drawbacks of Silicone Wedding Rings

As I said in the intro, the pros of women’s silicone wedding rings are plentiful, so let’s start there.

Benefits of Silicone Wedding Rings

Here’s a quick run-down of the pros. We’ll discuss them in a bit more detail below, though.

  • Lower price than traditional wedding rings (we’re talking hundreds to thousands lower!)
  • Safer for people who work with their hands, such as in a hospital, factory, and so on.
  • Safer for very active people. Groove Life, one of the most popular options, was actually made for mountain climbers!
  • Good for people with allergies to metals. Silicone allergies can occur, but they’re less frequent than, say, gold or silver allergies.

Expect to pay WELL under $100, even for the “fanciest” women’s silicone wedding rings

In fact, it’s not uncommon to find beautiful options for under $20!

Silicone allergies are pretty rare, especially compared to metal allergies. That’s why it’s so widely used in the medical industry.

Since they’re flexible and soft, they’re a whole lot comfier than metal bands.

They have more “give”

Silicone stretches far more easily than metal, so if you happen to gain a few pounds later on (hey, it happens), you don’t have to worry about getting it resized.

Safer than metal

Safety is one of the biggest draws to silicone wedding bands. As I just said, they have more “give,” so they’re less likely to cost you your finger if you get them caught in something.

Did you know that metal bands cause thousands of injuries a year? I didn’t! Silicone rings aren’t just safer to wear in the workplace, they’re also safer in general- especially for accident-prone people (like me).

Did you know that metal bands cause thousands of injuries a year? I didn’t! Silicone rings aren’t just safer to wear in the workplace, they’re also safer in general- especially for accident-prone people (like me).

Full of personality

I’m not really a jewelry person, to be honest. I don’t get all gooey-eyed over diamonds, silver, or gold.

When I learned that women’s silicone wedding bands were a thing, though, my first thought was “I’d wear those!” It’s just easier to find styles to match your unique personalities.

Easy maintenance

Silicone is a lot easier to care for than metal, which can get pretty banged-up looking if you don’t keep up with cleaning and care.

Drawbacks of Silicone Wedding Rings

Of course, even the best bands have their drawbacks.

As far as cons go, there are really only two that I can think of, and they’re totally subjective.

Not ideal for people who like “bling

If you’re into glitz, glamour, and bling, a silicone band may not be right for you.

Not really “heirloom” quality

The only real “con” of silicone wedding bands, in my opinion, is that they’re not really something you pass down through generations.

While they’re made to last throughout YOUR lifetime, even the best silicone breaks down much faster than a really good metal band.

They’re also pretty untraditional, which can be a pro or a con depending on how you look at it.

Personally, I think it’s a pro, but I’ve never been a traditional girl. I got married in a Dropkick Murphys t-shirt and my groom in a “Sinners” shirt. 🙂

Now that we know WHY silicone rings are a great choice, let’s look at some of my favorites!

What options are there for silicone wedding rings?

Once you decide that you want to go with silicone, you’ll have some homework to do. Just like buying a metal band, you have options.

Right now, the market is still relatively small compared to “traditional” rings, but that doesn’t mean you’re stuck with one style.

Since most of us prefer engraved silicone rings and bands, your best bet is to start by learning your different options and factors to consider for custom silicone wedding rings.

There aren’t a ton of brands that make them, but we’ve rounded up the best of the few that do. Engraving is a bit different when it comes to silicone, though.

Keep in mind that it can rub off over time, so you want to choose a brand with a lifetime warranty.

Groove Life Silicone Rings

That brings us to the best Groove Life silicone rings. While they’re slightly pricier than other options, we’re still talking well under $100 per ring. Yep, even with customization.

They offer one of the widest ranges of styles AND they give you a 94-year warranty. Why 94? No clue. I’m sure there’s a scientific reason regarding the life expectancy of silicone or something. The point is, it’s practically a lifetime warranty.

Groove Life also has metallic style bands, but they’re not the only option if that’s the way you want to go.

I recommend checking out our guide to silicone rings that look like real metal. It has a wide range of beautiful options from different companies. The Enso is one of my favorites!

On the other hand, if you’re looking for a ring that has a real stone in it, you’re going to run into major challenges. We shared 5 Beautiful Silicone Engagement Rings with Stones, but even with those, the “stone” is usually made from silicone.

Supgear Silicone Wedding Ring Set with Rhinestones

That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though. Remember the “pros” of silicone? Popping a diamond in the center isn’t just impractical, it kind of defeats the purposes of the ring entirely.

Looking for stackable silicone wedding rings that won't bust your budget? These 10 diverse options are all adorable yet totally affordable!

The last option that we’ve talked about is stackable silicone rings. Here’s where your options truly become limitless. Along with brands that sell matching stackable sets, you can very easily create your own.

Just buy rings in different sizes that you really love, then mix and match them! I’d choose one main ring to act as your “always” band if you want to take a more traditional approach. Or not! Totally up to you!

See, that’s perhaps the best thing about silicone wedding rings- they really let you express your personality.

Sure, I suppose metal bands can do that, but let’s be honest, it’s hard to find a traditional wedding ring in purple or blue. Plus, they’re so pricey that you’d have to spend a small fortune to create the stackable look!

Okay, now that we have a basic guide to silicone wedding rings, let’s get into the specifics check out some of my top picks for women!

Frequently Asked Questions about Silicone Rings

While we’ve covered most of these questions throughout above, I thought I’d make it easy for you and bottom-line it. These are some of the most commonly asked questions.

How much should you spend on a woman’s wedding band?

However much you want. Seriously, there’s no rule. I know we’re told that we should spend two months worth of pay on an engagement ring, but that’s absolute bunk, too.
Did you know that the diamond industry came up with that whole idea? True story! They’re also responsible for turning a fairly average gemstone that’s neither rare nor particularly unique into the most coveted and pricy stone in the world.
So please, don’t let anyone tell you that your love isn’t true if you can’t spend the grand total of 320 hours worth of work on a ring (40 hours times 8 weeks).

Can you wear a silicone ring as an engagement ring?

Sure, why not? You can wear a silicone ring, a diamond ring, or a bubble gum machine ring as your engagement band. Heck, you can even draw one on with a sharpie.
As long as whatever you choose represents a promise between you and your betrothed, it’s the perfect engagement ring.

Why do people wear silicone rings?

People wear them for all types of reasons. Some are allergic to metals (I have a friend who can’t wear a single type of metal at all). Others prefer them because they’re safer in jobs where you work with your hands a lot (they make great rings for construction workers).
Some just plain prefer the way they look and feel, while others like that they better reflect their unique personalities. Of course, they’re cheaper than metal bands, so that has something to do with it too, in some cases.

Can you wear a silicone ring all the time?

Ah, now we’re getting to questions that have actual yes or no answers. According to Enso Rings, yes, you can…in theory. However, silicone doesn’t exactly “breathe,” so your skin beneath it can get sweaty. That, in turn, can lead to a stinky-riffic band.
Enso recommends taking it off once a day to prevent this, such as when you’re showering. Their bands actually have “breathing chambers” though, which means you can skip this step.

Do silicone rings last?

We talked about this in the “cons” above, but here it is again: no, they don’t. Well, that’s not entirely true. They can last throughout your lifetime if you opt for a high-quality band. Some brands even have a 99-year warranty.
While silicone doesn’t break down as readily as plastics, it can become brittle over time. Eventually, that’ll cause the ring to snap or break apart.
So, if you dream of passing a ring down to your children and grandchildren, silicone isn’t going to cut it.

Final Thoughts

Silicone wedding rings may not be for everyone.

If you just plain love the bling of a real diamond or the sparkle of gold, then, by all means, go the traditional route.

Just know that if that really isn’t for you, you do have other options. Likewise, know that if your budget doesn’t really work with your love of bling, you can still find something fun that fits your personality.
