Amazing Same-Sex Celebrity Weddings That Will Give You All the Feels

One of the most moving uses of “Love Is Love” came from Lin-Manuel Miranda, an award-winning actor, composer, lyricist, playwright and producer.

At the 2016 Tony Awards, held on June 12, 2016, Miranda won the award for Best Original Score for his work writing the lyrics, music and script for the stage musical, Hamilton.

During his acceptance speech, which focused on the Pulse nightclub shooting (which happened earlier that same day) in Orlando, Florida, he recited a sonnet that he had written.

Part of the sonnet read, “And love is love is love is love is love is love is love cannot be killed or swept aside. Now, let’s fill the world with music, love and pride.” These same-sex celebrity weddings remind us that love has no boundaries.
